Next time you are in the bath or shower, stick some fingers "up there" they will automatically go in the hole with ease. If it's not with ease, that is your anus. The other teeny tiny hole the size of a pencil led tip is your pee hole. The whole in between your pee hole and your anus is your vagina. You'll find it. If you are on your period and bleeding heavy, clean it all up then sit on the floor with your legs open wide, get a mirror and see where the blood is coming from, you'll find it then.

Don't worry sweetie. You probably can't see the hole because your muscles are contracted too much. That is totally normal for girls who haven't done much "exploration" down there. If I were you, I would get in a warm bath to help you relax... there will probably be a little blood in the bath water but that is alright. When you are in the bath, use your fingers to find the vagina. Feel the opening, and gently put your finger inside. You should be able to do that easily, and it's okay to do that. Feel it a bit so that you're very familiar with it. It will probably "open up" a little with the warm water. After you find it in the bath, it should be easy to find it again later. Then, do what the other answerer said... stand up and put one leg on the toilet. Put the tampon at the opening, and push it in gently, aiming for your lower back (not straight up, but at an angle going toward your tailbone.) Once it is in, you should not feel it. If it is uncomfortable, that means you put it incorrectly... just pull it out and put a new one in.
Use a tampon with an applicator, those are easier. And do NOT use super tampons unless you have a very heavy period. Read all the directions for the tampons... change it every 4-6 hours and do not ever leave it in longer than 8 hours under any circumstances. The tampon should be almost completely red when you take it out after 6 hours. If it has a lot of white in it still, then you should use a lighter tampon. If it leaks, you probably need a heavier one. Once your periods are more regular, you will figure out when to use different sized tampons depending on where you are in your period.
Good luck!!!

I wanted to let you know that tampax pearl also puts out a 'lite' tampon which is a little more slender than a regular (it does hold less...but it might be easier until you get the hang of it). Other than a possible hymen issue...the problem really may be that you're stressing out about this and tensing up too much. I would try different positions: lying down/leaning back on the toilet seat. Need to remember to relax (even though it's a little instinctual). I had the same problem when I first started using tampons and wasted dozens from either not getting them in at all...or not being able to get them in far enough to be comfortable (because I was keeping my stomach too tense). --I've actually still have the same problem on occasion--of needing to push it up further by relaxing my muscles.

Urine comes from the clitoris. The hole you put the tampon in is the next opening then the perineum then the anus. So the hole you put the tampon in is the hole after the clitoris it's also the exit for babies and entrance for your husband/partner.
