The owner with Lamont Jordan in my league is looking to deal him, and he wants Chester Taylor. So far the deal looks like this:
Lamont Jordan, Joey Galloway, and Maurice Morris
for
Chester Taylor, Reggie Brown

I know this is a high risk - high reward deal, but what do you think?

I wouldn't do this at all...even if Jordan comes around, Taylor is probably going to be worth at least what he is...maybe slightly more. I don't see where this really helps you.

It is high risk, but I think this could be a good time to buy low on Lamont. Chester Taylor was probably your 4th or 5th round pick. Lamont was probably their first rounder, and Maurice Morris is going to be big for the next few weeks (after Chicago anyway).

I look for Lamont to have a coming out game this week. If he cant get it done against a Browns D that gave up 145 yds and 2 TD 2 weeks ago to Rudi, then he wont get it done against anyone.

There is no way that Oakland's offense sputter's like this all season. They may not win many ball games, but they will find ways to put points on the board, and Lamont will be a big part of that.

Same with Tampa. Regardless of who is Qb, they are still going to be passing, and that means Galloway. He'll get his.

I don't understand the high reward part.

If Alexander comes back any time soon Morris will have no value.
Galloway is a senior citizen with a brand new baby at QB
And Jordan may or may not become productive the rest of the year.

Taylor is not spectacular but still more productive than Jordan so far.
Brown is the 4th receiving option behind Stallworth, LJ Smith and Westbrook.

I would call it low risk low reward unless Alexander is lost for season.

I would take the trade for the following reasons
1) I'd take a chance that Alexander's injury will consume most of the season
2)Jordan can't play any worse with out being out for the season and unlike Taylor he is past his BYE week.
3) Galloway also has had his BYE week to convince the rookie to throw to the experienced receiver.

I would take the trade straight Lamont Jordan and Maurice Morris for Chester Taylor.

I think you should just keep Talyor and Brown. What has Jordan done. Galloway has no QB because Simms is injury. Morris is not even worth mentioning. Talyor is a good RB that has finally gave the Vikings the running game that they were missing. Brown is having a great start with McNabb has QB. Just keep Taylor and Brown.

Do the commerce, and that i'll tell ya why.......Lamont Jordan is a stud RB(be it the Raiders look quite undesirable now) yet they have a touch gentle agenda from right here on out fairly hostile to undesirable run defenses which will go far on your playoff run in course of the right of the three hundred and sixty 5 days.

no you're weak at rb's already and your giving up on one of your workhorses already. Yes jordan is being sold low right now but you're getting galloway at low and morris is spot fill for a few games. Raiders awful no line, galloway has rookie qb starting meaning the 'lac is gonna get the bulk of the o, and morris playing tough d this week.

Lamont Jordan is not worth much now but he is a player to develope into a good player. So I think you should let him develope on you team and wait a year or 2 before you trade so you get a better deal.

you would have to be out of your mind to even consider that deal. keep them. lamont jordan has no value whatsoever unless you really need a kicker. galloway is good because he will have grrggdowski or whatever his name is throwing him the ball instead of phil i mean chris simms. maurice morris isnt sean alexander. case closed.

Who are your wide recievers? Joey's qb just just went out with spleen troubles. Maurice Morris really?

I would keep Mr. Taylor.
