Since all continents are included in the intercontinetal championship, isn't that the same as the world cahmpionship?

Intercontinental means that u r the champ in the continent only, and World Champion mean that u r the champ in all continent.

The wwe championship and the world heavy weight championships are prestigious and are for #1 rank in the wwe.And these champions are paid more than any other superstar.
Meanwhile the US.championship and the intercontinental championship are rated 2nd rank in the industry.

that always confused me when i was a kid. World Champion sounds better I guess. the Intercontinental Champ is technically supposed to be the Number 1 Contender but they don't use that rule anymore for some reason.

World Champion assumes the name by their heavy weight category. Intercontinental means lighter weighing ones.
basically both are just different names to create more superstars for WWE

dude , see their are two championships so twoo differences
firstly come money and standard of wrestling
world champion can fight with anyone but intercontinental will fight on his standard
see, Undertaker will fight for world championship but Rey can fight for both. Undertaker knows that he haave the standard of only getting world championship
but REy mysterio was just having a dream to be world champion.
Second is Jeff Hardy can be world chamopion also and inter-continental champion also. But Jhony Nitro can only be Inter-continental champion no world champion.

And you get more clout if ur the World Champion instead of just being a Intercontinental Champion.

ok the ic is not as good as the wwe championship it is about second the ic. jeff could be ic and world champion but nitro no he cant you cant see him wif it john cena an ic champ? i dont think so would you like to see cena ic and nitro champ lmao
