We have been separated for almost 4 months. We will probably be getting divorced. He calls me everyday and night to say nasty stuff to me. This makes me hate him even more.
How can I make him stop?

Get an answering machine and let him know that you are recording your conversations......tell him that you will use the recordings in court against him if he doesn't stop harrassing you. You can get caller ID and just opt not to pick up the phone when he calls or if you want you can change your number altogether. I am not one to say that you should have to do that because he is being an a s s hole....I would gather proof of the harrassment and threaten to use it on him.....scare him into stopping. Good luck!

All of the answers are good suggestions. My daughter had the same problem. The ex had a control problem. The police told her they could charge him with harassment. Telephone bills should show all of his calls to you. This is also true if he is calling your cell. An order of protection is also a good idea. If you have reason to believe that he could try to harm you go to any women's shelter & they can help you get an emergancy order of protection usually within 24 hours. Please be careful he sounds like he has a nasty temper and God Bless.

Yap, try not to answer his call! I believe he might not want to end the relationship just like that. He tot by saying nasty stuff might get your attention? I have friends like that as well. She keep receiving call from her ex boyfriend, and her guy keep saying nasty stuff as well till my friend change her nos, her guy waited for her at her house saying he really hope there is chance that they can be together. sometime some guys are not good in their words and they express in a wrong way. GOOD LUCK!

Don't answer his calls (it'll just piss him off even more)! Change your number. Report him. This is harassment, and the police can obtain phone records. It'd be nice if you could find a way to record his calls.... look into it. It'd be good ammunition at divorce court.

HE probably wont stop. But YOU can hang up. You no longer need to listen to him. You're S-E-P-A-R-A T-E-D. And after the divorce, dont expect him to stop either. But please, please, please, do NOT listen and do NOT allow him to upset you with his 'nasty stuff'...That's just another reason why he continues. Because he knows he's winning the power struggle ...knowing that it is getting to you. When you remain calm, and simply hang up. He is the one who's literally hanging on the other end. That will frustrate him no end. Believe me, I speak from experience.

Let him know that you will NOT listen to his ugliness any longer.
Should he continue to persist, contact the authorities. He is harassing you.
