It's just potato, fried in oil, sprinkled with a little salt...that's it. But yet, millions of people, like myself, love it and can't imagine subsituting it for something else. Why do you like the taste of French Fries?

MMmmm.. Mm... Love them to death! lol. The real reason is because you can normally change them.. you can add many different dressings... if you've EVER had a POUTINE (gravy, fries, and shredded white cheese) from Maine (specifically Aroostook County) you'd KNOW how good fries can be! ... I love salty foods, Love oily fried foods... so yeah obviously FRIES fit into my schedule! They are something that don't take HOURS on end to cook either... and there's like NO thought behind it! lol... But their taste is definately hard to explain other than I love salty stuff and they got salt.. so yep their my fave! Now who wants to bring me out for FRIES n a BURGER? lol...

The perfect question for the perfect food. French fries are the best food ever invented, they are perfect. I simply love em.
There is no food I would rather have than french fries, you are right there is no substitute.

50 or 60 years ago fast food was a novelty, now it's just food because no ones home to fix diner anymore it's become a part of society we don't think of them as being french fries anymore we see them as a meal that's fast and easy.

I like'em salty, greasy, curly or seasoned; Ketchup, plain or even dipped in ranch dressing. I don't like it when they're overly greasy and, excuse the term, limp... I like steak fries, shoe string fries, and most of all, my own homemade double deep fried french fries... yummm...

because theyre sexy and salty and crunchy and yummy and you can eat a bunch of them at a time and mcdonalds has perfected the art of making french fries. but i prefer burger. damn those are helllllla goood. and curly fries. mmmmhh yum!!
