i know the yankees are by far the best team going into the playoffs but my question is who would give them the best run. my feelin is if the twins meet the yanks in the alds it would be tough for the yankees because that would potentially be 2 out of 5 games vs johan santana. besides that i think the a's might surprise many people because their pitching has been so sharp.
my predictions:
alds: yanks over twins in 4; a's over tigers in 5
alcs: yanks over a's in 6
ws: yanks over mets in 5

That, my friend, is a very good question.
The Tigers have a decent chance, although unlikely.
The twins have a better chance, and could beat The Yankees.
Although Brad Penny is back, I dont believe Oakland will advance past tthe 1st round. They would have to beat Detroit, and that is unlikely.
My crystal ball is a little cloudy today, but I do see a Minnesota/Detroit ALCS.

I like your predictions but I think the Tigers will beat the A's and the Yankees will beat the Tigers in 5.
I don't know about the Mets either. The Cardinals have had their number this year. Who knows.

Well to me the Mets are the best team.
I also think that the Twins and the Mets will be troublesome for the yankees.Well my prediction is that the Twins and the Mets will battle it out for the championship,and i take the Mets in 6 games.

It's happened before.
But if they play ball like they can and don't get into all the other BS they will again be the champs.
