Okay I am in korea so its hard to take her somewhere to get these items

Korea is one of the best place to get stuff.maybe you could get her clothes.or shoes...or accessories....Since Korea is one place where the latest fashion is present,in Asia at least.well,make use of the country's assets. =)

Not knowing anything about your niece.. i would suggest things like stickers and a scrapbook, arts and craft kits like friendship bracelets, a trip to the mall with you for lunch and a birthday shop together, if she has an ipod or computer get her a Napster or other music site gift certificate, or take her to the salon and get a manicure together.
I have 3 girls and all of those things would be thrilling for my girls to receive.

depends what she likes~ maybe try asking her? if no decision is made..then just get a gift card for school supplies...that can always be useful.
