when i first started to learn math i pretend all numbers pertained to money. (confession: i still do that and it helps me, im a genius when it come to percentages and bargains)

Get a deck of cards and play crib - that way you learn to add to 15 and 31.
Play Yahoo Games Dominos - you learn the components to add to multiples of 5.
Get a calculator and do your Math problems.

Learn from your teacher if you are in school. If you don't understand it, get a tutor. If they can't explain it in a way you understand, get a different tutor.
Math isn't hard to understand. It's all in the way it's explained.
