My Granmother was the best she worked at Strawbridges & every payday she would come home with records for me. We're talkin the 70's Edgar Winter, Bowie, Kiss, Aerosmith, and she would listen to them too.
Her own personnal favorites were Frankie Carle, Eddie Arnold, Guy Lombardo, Engelbert Humperdinck & The Mummers if your not from Philly you may not know who or what the Mummers are. Mom didn't have time for music there are 3 songs I got here the 45's of John Denver's - Annie's Song, Willies Nelson's - Always On My Mind, and the one that freaked me out the most, and her favorite Meatloaf's - Two Outta Three Ain't Bad I played all 3 at her viewing. Oh yeah and Granmom was a hugh Elvis fan as am I.

My mum likes crap like Robbie Williams, Black Eyed Peas, Youth Group, Pink, Eskimo Joe, Gwen Stefani... eugh.
And then the ones that I approve of: Roy Orbison, David Bowie, kd lang, Rolling Stones, The Cure, tears for fears, Madness, Radiohead, Muse and other gems. Unfortunately she listens to the crap chart music more than the good music. Woe is me.
