You know what they say, if you think you're beaten, you are. The first thing you need to do is change your attitude and tell yourself that you DO have a chance with her. Until you do this, you'll never make any progress. Doesn't matter if we're talkin' about love or coming out on top in a game of one on one.

First, why do you feel that you don't have a chance with her It may be easier to move on, since what sense is there in you beating your head against a brick wall, not meaning to sound unkind, but I don't see too many other options.

How do you know? You will never know until you open up and let that person know how you feel. Only two possible scenarios: one, you get a "go to hell" for an answer, and stop wondering, and two, you get an "I feel the same". In any case, you win...
