All's fair in love and war... There is no blame, only pain.

Ooo...good one. In a true relationship of give and take...this issue shouldn't come about. If the two really do love each other, this issue shouldn;t ever come up. Why? Simply because if you really do love each other the trust has been established. False love would be the only why this could be possible. In other words, betrayal of love and trust. I'm sorry if this has happened to you. As friends...is everything okay?

You are to blame for being careless. It's hard to blame someone for being trusting.

You're to blame, I think. That other person trusted you with something very precious, and you obviously didn't deserve that trust. Next time just be a little bit more deserving.

well, "fool me once shame on you! fool me twice. shame on me!"

you cannot blame a person for taking a risk with lending their heart to you, but once they knw first hand what a careless jerk you are and they continue to lend it to you, then you can blame them for their stupidity and low self-respect

it's never the fault of the person who gave their heart, if accepted it should always be treated with care.
