Liberals tend to think with their emotions, while conservatives tend to use common sense. Who penned the quote about the young being liberal and the older being conservative? That is me in a nutshell. When I grew up I realized the reality. Yes, I think it is funny because the truth of it is sooooo obvious.
g said they should get a little madder? I thought everybody was crawling his *** about the war. Bush madder than anybody and actuall stood up for us! Freaking hypocrites! Just let whatever flow out of your mouth so you can argue with someone!

I think we overlook that incident because he DID act presidential and intelligent in the past and to a certain extent he still is presidential and intelligent. By comparison of presidencies, Clinton has had plenty more success stories. Also, I think the media reads into Bush's word blunders rather than some rage over another president (whom is not respected) because its ironic. Bush fought for and instilled the "NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND" act so that children in schools would smarten up....yet he seems to be behind himself.... Its not like hes mispronouncing difficult words or misusing difficult grammar, they're actually quite easy and basic ones.
However, not regarding things like environmental policies and economics (which I think Clinton wins personally....ESPECIALLY on the environmental part), both presidents have lied regarding the war. I have listed a site below to illustrate what I mean. So in this major controvercial issue, neither candidate wins out.

There ya go !
Bashing Clinton to blow smoke around the DFI Bush screw ups.
Big difference here. Bush is a SITTING President and I hold him 100 % accountable for ALL his actions.
On the other hand, Mr Clinton is fed up with your party sitting on their apathetic butts still blaming him after he's been out of office for 6 years

Honey-even someone as brilliant as Clinton would have lost control with that ambush. He handled himself like a champ. America was very proud to remember that at one time we had a president who could put two sentences together without stumbling like an idiot. Every American that watched it saw a prize fighter in action. Wallace was speechless and couldn't even begin to recover.

Bill Clinton is Presidential and intelligent. He doesn't have to act at it.
Bush struggles to appear like he isn't a total idiot. Which he is.

he got mad at all the lies going around... and how did he act un-intelligent... is it un-intelligent if you get angry? I don't think so.. I'm still angry about 9-11... Clinton is too apparently...
Maybe Bush and Republicans should be a little madder about 9-11?
and getting mad and constantly flubbing speeches is two totally different things...

That's easy for you to say. You drool over Bush and mimic Farwell. You're a bigot. This question is unfair.
