There are two islands called Christmas Island

- one is in the Pacific near the International Date Line (that would be in the same longitude as Fiji I guess but not sure what country that belongs to)... so yeah, as somebody already said, Hawaii due west, Indonesia due east

-another one is in the Java Sea/Indian Ocean just the south of the Indonesian island of Java and northwest of Australia. This Christmas Island belongs to Australia and is officially an offshore territory of Western Australia

There are two places that named 'Christmas Island". One is located in Northwest of Perth, Western Australia and the other one is one of the line Islands in Republic of Kiribati also known as "Kiritimati".
