Philosophy - in Greek philosophy lie the roots of our scientific progress, because they were the first ones to develop the systems of logic and mathematics upon which the scientific method is based.

Literature..... although the gevernmental and philosophical legacy's may influence more now... the GREATEST legacy is most certainly the Literature. Within itself, it is art. The epic poems, once chanted loudly - fully memorized, it truly is everywhere in out society. If it wasnt, The Iliad, The Odessy, and The Orestia wouldnt be so popular today.
