No online gimmicks, just home-available things... Did they work? Can you tell me about it? Thanks.

My spouse and I (and a lot of our co-workers) have had REALLY AMAZING results with something called the "Master Cleanse." It's actually a fast, where you can only drink home-made lemonade. (Not just any lemonade, but with very specific ingredients.) It's supposed to be for 10 days, but we sometimes do it for only 7 or 5. You really end up feeling more alert, less bloated, slimmer, etc. Even the whites of your eyes lose all those little red lines! And you are allowed to drink water and herbal tea in between lemonades. I won't copy down the whole instructions for the cleanse here - I'll just give you the links to several websites and you can take your pick. (And, not to be gross, but you will be convinced at how great this works when you see the CRAZY STUFF that comes out of your colon near the end of the week. Sorry!!!) Check these out for more info:

Or, you can buy the book of the guy who invented the "Master Cleanse" here (it's less than 10 bucks!!!):

I don't know of any homemade cleanser except fiber and lots of water. I just received a colon cleanse & detox program from www.Dr.Natura.com and I just started it this morning. If you want to learn more about cleansing take a look at this site, even if your not interested in buying. It has tons of information and photos (yuk!) and is rated 5 star with Health Magazine. I am doing a 30 day cleanse and detox. I am hoping it will help with my allergies and hives. Take a look at this site just so you will understand the process better. Good Luck!

Enemas; either with water, diluted lemon juice in water, or coffee enemas. Other than that I have used a product made by Planetary Formulas called Triphala Internal Cleanser. This is a traditional Ayurvedic compound for cleansing the colon.

Citroma (the green tornado) or Fleet's Phospho Soda are available from any drug store and will clean you out enough (for a few bucks) for colonoscopy procedures. You can't get much cleaner than that!

I would think a garden hose would work just fine... I dunno if it works, as I've never tried it, but I would think that if that didn't clean out the colon, nothing else would.
