Here is a great site to check out when buying for twins:

Also, here are some books that would be helpful:
Twins! Pregnancy, Birth and the First Year of Life by Connie L. Agnew, Alan H. Klein and Jill Alison Ganon, which discusses multiple pregnancies month by month as well as child development. The second is Mothering Multiples: Breastfeeding and Caring for Twins or More by Karen Kerkhoff Gromada which has the best information I have found on breastfeeding twins.

Congratulations Auntie
What she's going to need is 2 of everything 2 sets of clothes 2 cribs 2 car seats. If you can think of it she will need double the amount because of the double joy that they will bring. Oh yes since they are twins she will need lots of space because when those 2 babies reach 12 months of age they will be walking.

congrats ... she will need lots of diapers and bottles. Clothes is always helpful because babies go though lots because if spit up. you should also get the book ..."what to expect when you are expecting" its a great book. she will also needs lots of TLC because she may get depressed as the babies start to grow and so does she. Its hard on lots of women when they are having babies on what they look like. give her lots of complaments. That really helps. I know that it also did for me. Hope this advise helps!!
