They do not live in the reality-based world.
Bush thinks that God put him in the White House.
If so, it must have Allah talking to him, because ever since Bush became president Mohammed has been kicking Jesus's butt all over the place.

mulligan's 1st mate - That was one of those online tests wasn't it?
Where's your pin?
Bush lost the popular vote against Gore (that would be one numerical measure)
It's not a matter of numbers, societal/cultural/human behaior systems have way to much noise.
The numbers don't count if you cheat to get them.
I pegged the invasion of Iraq as a stupid idea doomed to failure from the start, and I have legitimate reasons for coming to that decision.
Bush never, not once, has explained why he thought it would work. I'm not talking good or bad/right or wrong - I'm talking about something that was, and is, essentially impossible.
What good is your IQ if you can't figure that out?
I can't rememeber my IQ, SAT's, GPA's or any of that, because I never think about it. I'm a research scientist and I'm around some fairly bright people - and no one ever mentions their IQ - those are childish badges.
But my mother kept my Mensa pin so I know I'm on firm ground when I say:
you're not very smart - so STFU, and you know what you can do with your online IQ score.

Bush says (and does) whatever he wants to with no regard for the truth or what's the best thing for America. Why would he do anything different than he always does, since he continues to be allowed to get away with it? I do not understand why Americans are not out in the streets, surrounding the whitehouse the way the Hungarians were surrounding their Parliament building last week, and demanding that our criminal Administration be removed from power.

It is much more of an assertion than a "conclusion". Have you ever heard of spin? A person could claim that he represents "mainstream" Americans with much less than 50 percent of the popular vote. He could claim that his 40 percent represented the "mainstream", and the other sixty percent were fringe-like elements, maybe thirty to the right and thirty to the left. You have to know how politics is played. It's all spin, man.

Well you look at it two ways.
1. Follow the foolish opinion of first answer which even The Democrats dont buy any longer
2. Realize he got most votes and represent the majority which means "mainstream America"
I could add that Gore couldnt even carry his own state! If he had he would have won! I guess TN knows him and knew not to elect him

Bush is a liar. Plain and simple. Right there is proof that americans who vote, aren't counted. Only the electorial votes count. Bush says what he wants to say because he is on a "powertrip". Americans have allowed our govt. to get out of hand and now the govt. is telling us what to do. Pretty goofy isn't it. We are paying them to control us.

Let me explain math to you again. 51% is the majority over
49%. You can try to rewrite history but math never changes.
I am very "mainstream" - 51, educated, homeowner, married, 3 children, 3 in-laws, 7 grandchildren (they come as twins), upper middle income, 2 cars, had a dog, stay at home mother, accountant now. Kind of average - well IQ is 169 but otherwise average & President Bush represents me & 90% of my friends Republicans & Democrats. He was elected twice - I think that is what he bases it on.

Bush is far from the middle. Democrats are much more in the middle than most Republicans.
Bush is on the right side's edge, hanging off.

He never had a mandate! He only had 1 more electoral vote than was required, and that was after Jeb Bush delivered Florida's 25 electoral votes! He lost the popular vote!
And it seems few agree with him now!!

it makes no sense... and I love the people that bash Gore and Kerry... they talk about how horrible they are and it's like... "you do know that Bush barely beat kerry (as a war-time conservative incumbent, which is as close to a lock as you get) and didn't beat Gore... right?"
they don't pay attention and think that he won by like 90 percent... and liberals are the same as democrats... and that they make up about 3 percent of America...

It is amazing to me that Americans can refrain from voting and then condemn the result. Voting is a privilege.
Please vote in 2008.
