First you need is lots talent and drive.
Then you need original music and words that come from your life or your brain.
Once you are familiar with the words, key of song(s), and timing of the piece and phrasing of the music then you need to work on PROJECTING your voice from your guts and sound off like you have a pair.
You MUST FEEL and ACT OUT the emotion and spirit of the melodies and reall sing the words not just say them or mimic someone else. Really believe in what you are singing.
You also need lots of confidence, practice and showman ship.
It would help if you have "SOUL" in your mind, body, and spirit.
Feel the rythm. Let it Flow. Dont say or do anything you might regret later. Good luck.

Hey!!! Well hon, singing lessons help a lot to improve you voice, but they won't work at all if you don't have the voice, the earing, if you don't get the times of a melody, and the tones. Not by name, I mean, more, like if you can follow a melody and stick to it. You should drink a lot of water, not cold water, at least not minutes before singing, practice like crazy, and mostly, more SINGING LESSONS. they are great. Just in case, I am not sure of what you meant by " my sisnging voice is not good at all"... first of all make sure you are chasing the right dream for you, I SING, I ALSO WRITE SONGS, but I sing since i was inside my moms belly, now, I've been studying and taking singing lessons for like a year and a half, which have helped me a great deal, and I am way better than before, but, I already had the voice, a great voice, and all of the above, if you don't sweetheart, I really wouldn't want you to go through all of this hard work thinking this is for you, when your real dreams and talents are somewhere else. Good Luck Have a nice day

These days you can learn how to sing over the internet. Check out Aaron Anastasi's singing video lessons here: http://www.voicevideolessons.com The videos are very easy to follow and to my surprise extremely helpful even for advanced singers. For beginners I would have to say this is a gold mine. I was able to improve my singing, voice tone and range in just under two weeks and I am an advanced musician, been doing this for the last 13 years.
I live in New York City, I wanted to go to a singing teacher but that would have cost me over $1400 per month. Good thing with this internet, $1400 it's a lot of money for me.

Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Even if you're content to sing in the shower, there are some things you can do to improve your voice. This is probably the best online course to improve your singing skills https://tr.im/jaSVf
Your golden voice will be ringing out in no time!

To get better at singing I reccomend to follow an online course: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=541
It's much cheaper than going to a singning teacher and you can get really good results...I did that! I can suggest evens some singer tips if you wish...For example I reccomend to drink lots of water. Avoid drinking sodas so often! Always warm up. Vocal exercises. Try drinking this natural "clear the throat" remedy: Water, Lemon Juice, Salt,

I love singing - I took some lessons a while back and they really helped me.
There is quite a lot to learn such as breathing techniques etc to get different results with your voice - I would suggest joining a class or taking private lessons so that you can learn how to get the best out of your voice.
of course, singing teachers can't perform miracles and suddenly over night turn you into Chris Martin.... it helps if you have a modicum of talent to begin with!
And.... practice, practice, practice - it works!
I wish you lots of luck.....

It’s all about how you practice and train your voice. Most ‘vocal improvement’ systems and techniques just give you a set of vocal exercises with NO direction and leave you on your own to figure out how to actually sing.
But at Superior Singing Method, I train you with a form of active vocal improvement to spark your inner singing ability, improve every aspect of your singing voice – which means that you will start singing the way you always dreamed while gaining a masterful control over your voice…with amazing power and a range that will let you hit every note with ease and confidence.

Many people who sing professionally attend singing lessons. There is a music corner in almost every city where people get together to learn to play instruments and sing. It's not very pricy and it's a great way to make new friends.
However, if you're not looking to spend any money, just keep listening to songs and trying to sing along. One of the best places to improve your voice is in the shower, because it echos and makes a good noise. Keep doing this everytime you have a shower.
If you can play the piano/keyboard, sing along with the notes you play. If you don't have a keyboard, on most mobile phones there is a composition centre. Just try humming along with the notes and gradually get higher.
You can also try food to help you. Try water before singing, and fruit with lots of natural juice. Do not eat chocolate, drink juice from a carton/bottle, drink milk, eat honey etc.
If you feel hungry, don't eat anything that will stick to the back of your throat.
Hope this helps!

If you want to know a very good vocal coach try to visit https://tr.im/5UWjz an online vocal coaching tutorial. Everything, ranging from breathing fundamentals, vocalizing exercises, techniques on singing high and low notes, how to not go off-key/out of tune/off-sync, musicianship and music theory, proper diction and articulation, and a lot more are covered, all in our native language. It can be quite technical in nature, but it really helps since it covers the musical aspect of singing deeply and not just concentrates on how to impress people with your vocal range, riffs and runs and other cliches that do not necessarily make one a complete vocalist.
