Umm... Have you changed ur detergent? Don't use anything perfumy on the baby... for sure... does ur child have any allergys? ... umm... Go see a THIRD doctor... (dermatologist may or may not work? definate a try)... DEFINATELY Get more opinions. I know my baby bro' had a rash and it was from the detergents we used, and all that other perfumy stuff... Umm I think there is a special detergent called DREFT? not sure. But yeah... Hmm... I honestly couldn't tell you... But definately ask for more opinions from another DOCTOR! (oh oh ... try this site www.allexperts.com and then go to Parenting/Family and then go to one of these two: Parenting: Babies & Toddlers
Pregnancy/Birth and maybe the ppl (they say they are doctors) can answer your question... I sure hope you resolve this! GOOD LUCK!

Consult a pediatric specialist.
Try removing, one at a time, items beings from the house, like any animals, things the child may be allergic to.
Have you tried also calling hospital information lines? Often a hospital will have one where a nurse answers your questions. Check with the CDC website. Also google the symptoms.
Good luck. Let us know if this clears up. Hope the child is well. I'll put this on my watch list.

Do not do anything it is common for newborns to have a rash this will pass just warm water baths and a little vaseline when the rash begins to dry. The other alternative is Baking Soda sprinkled on top of the vaseline but wait and see if the warm water and vaseline clears it up.

have u ever heard of FROM HAND TO FOOT TO Mouth disease... It normally happend around this time. And infants are on the top to get it. They look like pimples, or like a coldsore. They get it along with a temperature. Do not pop them! You need to get him to a doctor if thats what it is because the more they spread the harder it will be for it go away. He will prescribe u a medicine to stop the spreading, but meanwhile give him MOTRIN or tylenol.

A good doctor would not let this continue. He/she would admit they don't know what it is and recommend someone else. If it were my baby I would have been to every doctor in the state if I had to.
I have no idea what kind of insurance you have, but if you are on medicaid and seeing intern doctors contact me & I can tell you about a better medicaid plan where you can see a private doctor, if you don't already know about it.

Do you have a baby clinic near where you live. They are better than doctors with things like this. My first baby had little pimples all over his face when he was born but eventually they went away. I probably ate too much sugary food when I was pregnant with him! (The clinic nurse told me not to wory because it wasn't unusual, but I'd still check it out if I were you).

Dress him in 100% cotton clothing, and go to another pediatrician. You can also ask your pediatrician if an allergy or hyper sensitivity test is needed.
Good luck

I bet it's a virus. My baby had this, though she was older, it looked like pimples or chicken pox. It was a virus though I can't remember the name of it; I wish I had written it down.
