I have a bed that is only about two years old. I don't have a frame...just the box spring and mattress on the floor. The last month or so I've noticed it squeaking a lot when I turn over. Are there any suggestions barring a new box spring?

Well it sound like you have been getting alot of use out of your bed:) You can try to rotate your box springs (put the top and the bottom) or flip it over and see if you can pinpoint the point of the squeak and spray a little wd-40 on there. Try sleeping on the other side of the bed. If all else fails, well, you may just have to break down and get a new one.

OH my gosh i'm having the same exact problem. I've had the bed since summer 2004 and in the past 4 or 5 months its started squeking too. I asked on here and some people told me to put some 4 sticks of wood like building wood do you know what i'm talking about and line them up like ths ( I I I I ) UNDER your boxspring not wood but those 2 by 4 things that they use to like build houses and stuff gosh i hope you're getting what i'm saying. i think i'm going to try this. if that doesn't work the other suggestion i got was to replace the bed but they said i had to replace the entire bed which i don't think so probably just the box spring. i have noticed if i sleep in the middle it doesn't squeak its only the sides that squeak.

Doubtful, the spring sits atop a wood frame, if the squeak is caused by an uneven bed frame or crack or loose structure inside boxspring than it may work.

Sorry, there is no way to fix that. Inexpensive box springs don't last very long. If you really don't want to buy a new one, then just throw it out and put your mattress right on the floor.

Replace, and get a quality air matress, silent.
Unless you wanted to gut the thing and fix all the broken boards and replace all the springs exactly where they were...

You get what you pay for. Better quality mattresses though more expensive initially will save you lots of money in the long run as they last a lifetime.
