Knowledge is not always beneficial, and ignorance could be a viable path if your purpose in life is not growth or betterment.

Definitely, knowledge is always beneficial. The more you know the better you will be able to live a successful and fulfilling life.

Ignorance goes nowhere and comes from nowhere. Ignorance can be cured by learning, That is the difference between Ignorance and Stupidity

Well, let's put it this way.

Knowledge can make one miserable but ultimately it is better than being protected all the time as the world can be a dangerous place.

Here's an example of someone who is ignorant but happy. This lady I know is sweet and simple. She lives to cook and bring joy to people's lives. She doesn't know THAT much about the world or human behavior but she's happy.

HOWEVER, the reason THAT can happen is because she has a very intelligent husband who handles most of the important affairs and makes it easy for her as a homemaker to be that.

If her husband were to be taken away, what would happen? Would she still be able to live that life of ignorance or will she have to wisen up and learn to take care of herself?

In the end, ignorance can be supported but only as long as they are protected from forces that would use their intelligence (or lack thereof) against them.

Ignorance can be supported as a viable part of life, for example native tribes of wherever, most likely Africa, do not have cars, and neither would we if we were ignorant of certain aspects of physics, but on the other hand they also dont have extreme CO2 emissions if left unchecked could potentially lead to the destruction of the earth.

Yes to knowledge and no to ignorance. Always!
Not knowing always leads to mistakes.
Sometimes those mistakes are costly and
devestating. You benefit from those mistakes
by acquiring knowledge and prevent you from
repeating them.
If you don't learn from the consequences that your
ignorance has caused you and commit the same
mistake, then you have entered into the realm of
stupidity. Ignorance knows no stupidity.
Fare you well.
