"John" is my 7 year old's father.Since he and I split,my now-husband "Tim" and I separated.John and I started talking again because of our daughter.I still love my husband, but the attraction is still so there with John and it's mutual. We always had this chemical attraction thing going on for years. The problem is he's married now.I think he got together with her on the rebound from me, because I chose Tim over John and he said it broke his heart. He told me he still loves me,and never stopped.(we had no contact for 4 years)Now he's always helping me out, doing favors, etc.I really want to sleep with him.Is this a big mistake????I still love my husband, but there are circumstances where we cannot be together.I'm just so lonely sometimes.Am I a horrible person for wanting to sleep with him? I know he'd have me in 2 seconds.I don't even care he's married.Any suggestions? We used to have an unbelievable sex life.

it is the one true love in your life that shall remain that would have to have some critical thinking on your part as to whether or not he is the one and only true love in your life

I don't know, you kinda have to ask yourself if it is worth your time. It's understandable that you're looking for a distraction at this time of your life, but you have to figure out if this distraction is worth the emotional investment you're going to make in a relationship that's quickly going nowhere. You are super-vulnerable right now, and you may be confusing "chemistry" and being desperate for affection. Not to say that chemistry isn't there - it very well may be; but it seems to me you don't have very good control over your feelings right now. If I were you, I would figure our what's going on with your current husband (divorce him or reconcile) - and, if the answer is divorce, concentrate on building your new future. You're not a "horrible person"; your feelings are totally understandable. I just think that getting involved with John at this point would be a bad idea.

Nope- he's married which means he's no longer in circulation. It would be wise to think ethically about this rather than sexually. All you will get out of sleeping with him is an orgasm that you will forget once you finally realize he is not going to leave his wife and make you his "one and only" again. Most guys just live for this kind of thing- to have two girls falling all over themselves for him, and to know he's got something over on some other guy. There are other peoples' feelings in the situation to consider besides just his and yours. It would be selfish to act on sexual impulses and betray the people you exchanged rings with. Maybe all involved should seriously take needs/wants inventory and decide what it is they really want. Only after everyone is free and clear of their significant other should there even be talk of reuniting sexually. Try to imagine it from your spouse's perspective. How would you feel if you were the one who was cheated on? Cheaters never prosper...

man, reading postes like these make me glad as hell I moved away from my ex after the dovorce...

Don't mess around on your current husband, if you want to persue somehting with your former, then at least have teh respect of for your current husband to wait until that relationship is over. It's definately not wrong to go back to your "Baby's daddy", but it is wrong to to do it while your married to someone else. If your current relationship isn't working, and your ready to give it up, then do it and by all means relive your old relationship.

But if make sure you have your mind set on where your current relationship is at and going, If you don't your going to hurt someone, either the ex or the current, if you cheat then your going to have to explain to your child why her second daddy is leaving.

Just do the right thing and end your current relationship before moving on to a new guy, or in tehis case teh old guy.

Your feelings are never wrong but it's wrong to act upon it as your ex is already married and even though you're separated, you're still legally married. Before u think only for yourselves, think about the people u will be hurting in the process should u two decide to act upon your feelings.

If it was so great, why did you split up? Cheating on your husband is wrong, unless you think marriage vows were meant to be broken. How many lives do you want to ruin?

If what you really want out of life is great sex, a trailer trash lifestyle, a confused child, and knowing that you devastated your husband and your ex-husband's wife by your behavior, then go for it, dear.

No. Follow your heart. Do what feels fright. We all only live once. Every minute spent not doing something we want is one less minute we get of happiness and enjoyment from life. No remorse. No regrets. Carpe Diem.

You are not horrible, but its a huge mistake because you have a daughter involved. Her needs come before yours.
