Awww, she's just doing normal baby stuff. She might have a small gas bubble, or could be dreaming. Both of mine did this, theres nothing wrong.

Sleep disturbances like that are normal. During the first few months, it's quite common for babies to dream, change breathing patterns, breathe noisily, etc., while sleeping. The pout always pulls my heart strings, but oh, those sleep grins are the best!

Babies like to be held 24/7. If you can, let her sleep in your arms or in a sling while you carry her (like www.kangarookorner.com). The snugglenest is great for cosleeping so you can keep your hand on her. If you let her sleep at your breast she may nurse on and off in her sleep and not cry so much. When we don't know exactly what is wrong (gas, vaccination pain, dreams, needing to be held, hunger, thirst) nursing works like a charm! Good luck. You are a great mom for caring:)

She's just dreaming. I read how their sleep cycles are different. My baby will sometimes cry out once then fall right back asleep.

Thats just what babies do.. cry.. eat sleep. Maybe the environment she is (trying) to sleep in is too noisy or bright. Or on the contrary, its too quiet and everything is disrupting her. She may also have a stomach ache caused by gas. When my son is sleeping I leave a fan on (not pointed on him) in the room to be "white noise".. it mellows him out and helps him sleep thouroughly. If its gas, then try giving her a little gripe water (http://shopping.yahoo.com/search?p=gripe%20water) to relieve her discomfort. If it is gas pains that are causing her to stay awake you might want to consider changing her formula, nmaybe she is lactose intolerant like my kids, who both had to have soy. Good luck.

Do not panic...I have 2 infants, and I can tell you that it's just gas bubbles...DO NOT pick your child up right away...in fact, by letting him/her cry it out your teaching them to calm themselves, you'll only wear yourself out:) In another week or two he/she will be sleeping through the night! And so will you!

honey that is normal for babies to do. they dream too.sometimes it could be something they not too happy about. but don't jump for every little whimper or whine. unless you feel she is having a bad dream. then just comfort her.
