if you really want it out go to search >all files and folders
type in etrust > search delete all that comes up
right click on what does choose delete then
do the same in your recycle bin But be sure you have a program to replace it even if it is the free version of AVG 7.1
you need anti virus software.
the trial version of kaspersky internet security suite worked so well I bought it.second one down in linkhttp://usa.kaspersky.com/downloads/trial-versions.php

earlier analyzing the physique on your question, i became going to declare Norton information superhighway protection and if not Kaspersky in spite of the undeniable fact that it seems you beat me to the punch. it quite is definitely not stated to have spybot put in with Norton nevertheless reason Norton covers the climate that spybot does. meaning Norton would (a) think of its yet another virus or (b) won't enable Norton to do its job. purely a heads up for Norton if desperate.....uncertain approximately risk-free important, nevertheless it style of feels the extra you pay for a anti virus, the extra high quality you will get carry of lower back. "You get what you pay for" in this concern i've got faith.

thats because eTrust is more commercial software than protective .... just boot into safe mode and try again to uninstall it .. then go to Start > Run > type Msconfig hit ENTER > go to startup tab .. untick eTrust autoload click apply and ok .. reboot your system .. and go to the program's folder delete the eTrust folder .. :)

Good Luck

etrust is a very good program. You might have to configure the firewall so it doesn't ask to allow programs or sites all the time.
If anything just use the antivirus program by itself.
