Hmmm. This is a good question. I must admit, I have fond memories of Old Spice. My dad wore it, and I can still smell it on people from 30 feet away and recognize it. I always kind of smile when I smell it, but personally, I don't wear it. Same for English Leather. My granny used to get me a bottle every year for Christmas, so I always like the smell of it from a nostalgia standpoint, but I haven't worn that since high school in the late 80s.
As for the cheap stuff, I like Preferred Stock by Stetson. I always liked Polo too, but I haven't worn that since college. Cool Water is good too, in my opinion.
As for the worst, there's some crap that comes in a VERY large bottle, by cologne standards, called Aspen. Awful. Just awful. I think I'd DRINK Old Spice before I'd wear Aspen. It's bad. I don't even know another brand that compares to it. Hideous.

Best is Safari by Polo I think it's kind of in a gold bottle
or Drakkar Noir dang that smells so hott most guys though smell so nice they dont need anythign.

Worst---Well, I don't hate Old Spice, reminds me of Daddy back in the 50s. For worst I'd say probably anything Avon or anything ridiculously overpriced for idiot elitists--something like Creed, for example.

The worst is Polo when someone has poured it on so it gags you! My favorite if Fahrenheit!
came back to edit...Autumn that is so funny...I really didn't read your post before I posted mine...it happened at the same time! I forgot to mention some thing that guys wear after they work out it is called "Sweet Sweat" oh I love that stuff!!!!

I really like Coty musk, and hate all these new upstarts that all smell the same. Old spice is good tho, I like Avon spicy too, but I dint think they make it anymore.

The worst is called Grey Flannel.... and the best is Chanel for Men... they do not make it anymore, but replaced it with Chanel pour Homme... it's a little sweeter, and less spicey, but still smells good..... Thanks for the great question...

i love ralph lauren polo sport or RL romance on a man....not sure which ones i dont like but i hate it when it seems like they took a bath in it. Ive smelled guys who reeked of so much cologne that I actually gagged.
