Personally, I don't believe in them in the long term. I believe that most major things happen for a reason and that all you have done and experienced makes you who you are today...

I agree that our choices and experiences make us who we are and that everything happens for a reason. Yet still, even knowing that I do have one major regret in my life....Last Mother's Day I was going to fly home and surprise my mother, just on a whim....I had a little extra cash and thought 'why not'......however, for some reason I BS'd and never got around to getting my ticket...I ended up not going and just gave her my usual phone call...I told her that i thought about coming but didn't make it and she said not to worry about it, no biggie, there was always next year....well mom died about two weeks after that and I really wish that I would have followed my first mind and gone home to see her....and now I'll never get the chance to spend another mother's day with her.......That is the biggest and only regret that I have....

If you done anythings wrong and failed, just treat as a lesson, and tell yourself " I've learn something new today". I just regret about my lovers. I've loss all of them few years ago, but now I'll try my best to do everythings without regrets!
