Hun,you need to realise that burping is a bodily function.Everyone does it,even the most feminine female.I am female myself,and the best thing you can do is say"excuse me" politely,and move on.It is NOT the end of the world.If he stood there and laughed at that,then he is very immature.Each and every person burps no one can get around that,its just the way we are made.Do not allow something like that to embarass you or make you feel any less adequate in this world.It is something everyone does.Good luck.

Don't worry, since he laughed it means he was ok with it.. Be greatful you didn't fart though like I did, in front of my crush when I was 16.... He laughed then and we are still laughing to this day after being married for 16 years....Next time (if there is a next time) ask him if he can top that?!?! :)

My sister always yells GOOD ONE when one of us burps that way. Consider it quite an accomplishment. If it comes up again, just say you felt very comfortable with him and thought he'd like a record breaking burp!
