If life is like a box of chocolates because you never know what you're gonna get...why do so many take a bite of one to see if it's one they like or spit it out if it's something they don't... does life really work that way?

I think it's a little of both. while we can't predicdt the future, we as humans try to control our own destiny. Sometimes it works, and sometimes life thows us a curve ball, but when this happens, we just pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off, and carry ow. After all, what other choice do we have?

Yes, it actually does. If you do something in life and you don't like it, you go on the next day and try again.
