Well the first thing you should know is that acne is preventable, but not curable. That said, going cheap will most likely not work unless your acne is very minor, and you would also have to keep the treatment going, which would mean more money anyway. There's no wonder drug for acne, so don't give up if one treatment doesn't work. If you don't want to spend alot of money, make minor adjustments to your lifestyle. Use a cleanser when you're showering instead of soap. Avoid coffee and chocolate (no proof really, but you should try anyway). Also, too much sun can be bad, so use sunblock. Personally, I've had acne for 6 years now, and just changing things here and there has helped alot. When you're ready to spend money, I would suggest Proactiv. It didn't work for me but cleared my brother's acne and seems to be one of the best products out there. Just remember that everyone's skin is different, so find the treatment that works best for you and stick with it.

You can get a Neutrogena Body Wash for Acne, and you will see some results within the first week, and probably full results at the end of the first week, or a few days after. Dial soap removes bacteria, so you could get that also. Either one will work great at removing the acne.

P.S. Tanning does NOT remove or clear acne, it harms your skin and causes skin cancer. Use a self-tanner if you want to get tanned, you can't tell the difference by looking, but it makes a huge one. It's really the difference between life and death, skin cancer is very serious.

This may sound very strange to you, but once I read in a beauty magazine, taking a slice of tomato and rubbing it on our face, clears up the acne. It is the acid in the tomatoes that clears the acne up. It's cheap and you have nothing to loose. Give it a try for a couple of days and see what happens. The acid absorbs the oil in your skin..Good luck

I'm 23 years olds. When i was in my preteen and teen years, i had real bad acne also. That lasted up until i was 17 or 18. Like regwoman said, lay off the soda's, candy bars, and greasy stuff. All that stuff can cause acne. Now that i'm 23, i can eat it all now and not get acne. I mean sure, i get them every now and then, but no like i did.

Avon has a line of products called Mark. As in make your mark, but every avon rep sells it....They have a product called "Bacne Acne" designed specifically to target acne on those parts of the body....Probably under 10 bucks, I am 25 and a firm believer in AVON products....You could go to avon.com to find a rep or probably buy it right there.

Yeah, Neutrogeana has a great bodywash that contains Salyic Acid in it its tough on acne but, gentle on your skin. You have plenty of time to get rid of all the yucky acne. Don't forget to also use Neutrogena oil-free mosturizer so your skin is nice and soft too!

This might sound a bit crazy, but try Lava soap.
Hydrogen Peroxide is good afterwards.
