Overthrow? We vote them out of office.

There is a difference between criticizing your government and working for change and actually plotting to overthrow a government. When you arm yourself and make bombs and use those to threaten innocent people, it's terrorism.

What happened in Thailand is NOT terrorism. It was a military coup. The military did not threaten civilian targets. They blockaded a couple of military units in their barracks that they thought would fight and paraded some tanks through the streets. The first thing that they said was there would be elections within a year. The first thing they did was renew their pledge of loyalty to the royal family. This coup, by the way, was completely bloodless. The citizens seem to agree with it because no one has protested. We'll have to see if that changes.

Ofcourse people have right to overthrow the government which is ineffective but at a time of election. If few people don't happy with the Government, they can not overthrow for their own sake. A proper democratic process should have to be followed.

Even though such things as murder, rape, robbery, tax evasion, and a whole lot of others are illegal, you always have the right to do them, and if you are caught the government has the right to punish you.

Remember we have a "reactive punitive system" You have to do something first, then our government ( including police) will step in, apprehend you and bring you before a court to sentence and punish you.

But you have to do it first, then you are tried. That's why we have problems here like waiting for terrorists to bomb us before we can bomb them, etc.etc,

To answer your question, sure you can exercise your rights and try to overthrow the government, but there are hundreds of little laws that exist along the path toward that act and you can be picked up and tried as you violate those little acts.

Not anymore. With computer chips coming soon, it will be near impossible to overthrow the govt. Voting is no longer viable-it's all fixed via electronics.

Based on Katrina, the drug & increasing thugs problem...both the Repubs & Dems have abandoned us. Forever more we now live in a Corporation controlled USA.

Either temp National Guards will be called in to quell coming riots...or a large flu epidemic will hit us. Since the media has been hit with turkey
flu, we will never be told the truth.

Plotting against he government is NOT a terrorist act - it is an act of subversion but not terroristic in nature. A terrorist act is an act of extreme violence where there are many innocent victims and is an act normally undertaken by an individual or group with some political axe to grind. Subversiveness is illegal but is not an act of terrorism.

Condemn the democracy state is a basic right for you to say anything even the sadist statement to your President.

Condemn the communist or dictactor state, you may be accused as a terrorist even you give a soft advice. All rule must be obliged without any question. President's speech is all true and no mistake.
Any break of the rule, you may ended in jail for whole life or death penalty will be imposed on you.
