What are the advantages and disadvantages to each? Getting rid of it is a pain, but I rather prefer it to be bare down there. Is there any reason NOT to get rid of pubic hair?

Hair is meant to catch germs and keep them away from your body. However I have been shaving my pubic hair every day for 5 yrs now and I have never suffered from anything. Occasionally I will go through the pain of waxing but it is costly and ouchy. I shave with a fresh blade and get it just as smooth as waxing. I think smooth is way sexier than hairy! If you prefer being bare I highly suggest you go that way.

I shave mine mostly in the summer. I hardly ever cut myself, you just gotta be careful. The reason I did it was because I wear a bikini in the summer and it's also good for" that time of the month" it's easier to remove your tampon of pad without pulling out pubic hairs, another plus is sex, it's alot better trust me, I got to finish befor his three minutes was up, know what I mean?

Guys are more willing to go down on a girl who is bare. Plus it looks and feels a lot better. Sexy underwear is much more attractive without hair poking through or out of it.
It's a lot of bother, though.

it is extra desirable to get rid of it because of the fact it quite is extra hygienic and allows you to maintain cleanser and nicely groomed yet its as much as you in the tip so stable luck x p.s. hair isn't there to evade infections, its there to maintain your bits heat, you dont have it as a infant whilst ur immune gadget is at its lowest so why might it serve that objective now?

Well i have been shaving for a while and the only bad thing is once you start you can't stop because it causes itching when it starts getting long again

a little hair can be sexy, also shaving down there can lead to problems if you cut yourself.

bare - pro - it's sexy,it's visually stimulating, oral is great(for her too!), though consider waxing- con- there aren't any
hair- pro - I do not know of any - cons- there are too many to list
