On the little window that you click "yes" on , make sure the drop down menu says "shut down" and not "reboot"

With newer computers .. shutdown means shutdown and turn off.

On some older computers, or computers with a bios option .. the shutdown happens .. but the off command is ignored.

I would check the bios settings.

aiki....is Right......Check ur BIOS Settings.....if all the Settings are Alright..............then Try Scannin ur PC...with some Nice Antivirus Program..........Also With some Spyware Software..............Hav Fun.
