just curious as to what attracts you to a question????

I recently asked a similar question about avatars and I think I almost never answer grey smiles unless the question is a killer!I'm a visual person and I like to associate the question to some personality of some kind.
Doesn't have to be a face , but as long as I see an icon .An image is worth a 1000 words, and I like to analyze stuff like that. I like creative people who take the time to invent a cool name and a nice pic that comes with it. Imagine a world with only grey smiles!!!How boring would that be...

Honestly, I base my choice of questions to answer on how easy it is to understand what the heck the question is about. Some people seriously need to learn how to type!
The appearance or lack of an Avatar doesn't really matter.

Actually for me it doesn't matter what their avatar is or is not, I do not like to judge people on such things and I was always raised to believe that there are no stupid questions and all questions should be answered. That even goes for when a three year old won't stop asking "why".

Ah ya might get amused by some of the avatars out here but I simply sift around looking for unique questions or at least questions to fit the mood.

Personally I don't even look at the avatars. I just start looking at questions and answer the ones that appeal to me.

It doesn't really matter. It is the content of the message I'm looking at, not if they have an avater or gray smiley. If it looks like a good question I will reply, if not I move to the next question.

Actually, I look at both. But, I mostly go by the question. I try to answer those questions for which I may have something to contribute.

What attracts me to a question is the question itself.
In retrospect, I can't recall ever seeing many questions from the "Greys".

Doesn't matter to me. I just answer. Sometimes just a simple statement and other times a full blown epic. depends on the question I guess.
