I know I'm playing into their hands by giving them attention, and no doubt they will have a horn all week, but let's do something to get this site back!
We can start posting in the business and finance section perhaps? Or we can start our own site where you need to pass an IQ test to post!!!!
Suggestions?

The ONLY thing that will work is to completely ignore everything they write...no ratings, no reporting, no answers....period. Post zero questions about them...completely...as if they didn't exist. Obvoiusly, that is too much to ask here. There are actually very few of them, we have an xxon something in many clones "Supergirl, xon...., xxon.... many different stage names for the same little girl. She gets reported, suspended, then comes back as another form of the name. She has a few other names. I have determined that it is a little girl, for an adult would not waste that much time unless they were out of a job, totally broke, and very bitter in life. And yes, you are playing into her hands. Don't even open the question. When there is no response, they will pick up their toys and to elsewhere. Yahoo is doing a very poor job on this section, and at times, I can't help but wonder if it is not one of their moderators ????? Good luck and peace.

I'm not really sure what the solution would be. I can tell you this though: In just the last week or so, the LGBT forum here has hit rock bottom with not only hate-filled questions but also nonsense-type questions from people apparently with multiple identities. It's like this last group of characters is attempting to disrupt the natural flow of questioning and answering by filling the site with so much garbage that people leave and go elsewhere. I see where yahoo has gotten rid of some people who cause trouble but they have not done anything about nipping a lot of this in the bud right away.

starting our own site ,now there is an idea worth considering.
p.s. think I'll check out the business and finance section might be worth the change from all this hate.

Report their questions, cut and past them into the box when reporting them, write letters in the suggestions areas on the home page.

No, let's not sink to their level, Dearheart. Let's just use well-worded sarcasm...besides, who actually goes to the finace site anyways..okay, Otters aren't good with money. There are always so many interesting fish to buy!!!!!! (ps my IQ was 129 in case we're starting our own area....)

If you ignore someone long enough, they usually go away. Well worded sarcasm goes a long way also. I prefer to use the sarcasm against them, and have a little fun.

Just be real and let others deal with it. People are gonna criticize you no matter what. Allow others to understand you but don't be defensive. Keep in mind that some will not accept you no matter what.

Let's just all ask a serious or genuinely entertaining question (come on, you can spare the points!) and focus on those.

My suggestion would be to not response to their answers or questions. However; simply use the thumbs up/down; to vocalize your thoughts.
