Yes, another baby name question, sorry. We've chosen Brooke as the name for our daughter that's due in a few weeks but haven't decided on a middle name. Lynne (might be Lynn, if it even matters) is a family middle name on my bf's side and I was wondering if anyone thought Brooke Lynne sounded good or just trendy. I didn't like it at first, I didn't want a one syllable middle name since her first name would be one syllable and her last would be three, but now I don't think it's so bad. I know Brooklyn is out there now but it as a first name doesn't sound good with her last name. We were also considering giving her a second middle name but she probably would hardly ever use it enough to make a difference. Maybe I'm thinking about it too much. I just needed an opinion from someone I don't know.

Oh I totally thinks thats cute. That is exactly what I picked out for my daughter. But we decided on Madison Lynn. But actually changed the middle name to Star after she was born. Long story though. But its really cute. If I have a girl her name will be Brooklyn. I know its not the same but I love that name.

People might call her "Brooklyn" anyways once they know her middle name. I don't know the last name, but unless it's "newyork" how bad could it be? If Lynne is a family name, no one in the family will care. They will all understand. I actually think the two names sound kinda good together. It's sorta permanant trendy. Not like the celebrity names. You can call her "baby brooke lynne" for a while.

Don't sweat it. There are plenty of crazier names out there.

Dont name her that. It will be hard for her to seperate the first and middle name whenever someone askes her, and i think it is more cheesy then cute... this will always be some thing to talk about when she meets some one new - remember these word games might sound like lots of fun now but your child has to put up with it her entire life!! how much fun is it going to be when she's 50 years old and explaining this little joke to someone for the 50,123,494th time???

Here are some suggestion i thought of for a middle name:

Timber, Adrea, Alexa, Mileana, Helen, Helena, Noela

There is a great site for baby names where you can get different short lists of girl names and figure out whats rigt for you

It's cheesy-cute. If it's a family name, I think it's adorable. It looks good together and it sounds very pretty. I think it's up to you, but I think it's a really cute name. Gosh, a little baby named Brooke Lynne! That's so sweet!

To be honest, that's brilliant. The only reason people would say it's cheesy would be because they don't have that name. If your worried people will make, don't. When I first read it, I thought it was a cute name and wasn't sure what people were calling it cheesy for. When I finally understood it, I smiled and laughed because it's so freaking clever. Trust me, people won't laugh at her, they'll laugh because it's brilliant.

I love that name it's so cute, Yeah brooklyn is better, I was told if you can yell the name 5 times you pick for your children and you like it then you should keep it but if you don't then don't simple as that. Thats what we did and it worked for us happy naming

I really like that name- it's cute and simple! It's not some weird, unheard of name that many people seem to be naming their children these days.
