Mardy Fish will make a run at a major before he is done , but all eyes on Arod and Conners now. Rock on US tennis.

James Blake and Andy Roddick on the men's side...not too many potential American idols on the female side. But I feel like the Agassi/Sampras era having come to an end is a lot like when the Michael Jordan/Bulls Dynasty era came to an end. It will be a long time, if ever, until tennis has such an amazing American presence, I think.

I don't think Andy Roddick & James Black can to be the next Ame tennis idols. Yes, Andy won Grand Slam , but i think he can't to be. Maybe in the future, after Roger Federrer retired, Ame will appear a new tennis Idol ( like Agassi, Sampras, Jim Courrier) Let's wait.

Definitely Roddick and Blake. They are very good players, both in the top 20 seeds. But no one can beat Aggasi and Sampras pair.
Roddick is a great player,no.4 seed and i guess he's the best one who can represent American Tennis.

There are a lot of potential in the men's side one of whom is Sam Querrey, he gave Nadal a huge challenge and could've beaten him if luck was on his side. But definitely the biggest hopes are Blake and Roddick who are some of the most talented players in the world at this very moment. In the women's side, Ashley Harkleroad and Bethanie Mattek have a potential to be some of the top players in the future.

Roddick is seriously heating up now. Blake needs to address his somewhat (relative to other top players) lack of a killer instinct. All the times he's had trouble closing out a match? He needs to be able to give the deathblow. But they both have personality, which is good.

James Blake is a future world no.1 in my opinion so id say him! Andy roddick is of course still there but at the moment apart from his huge serve he lacks alot in his game!
