My nerves get the better of me and I sort of shut down. I know I can do better. I am always dissappointed after my presentations. I know it's psychological. Now, how do I get over it?

It gets better as you do more presentations. Don't do the "picture them naked" thin. It doesn't work. Just remember that they are listening to you because you have information that they don't. Don't assume that people are hoping that you screw up. They want to hear what you have to say, so project your voice and let the info fly out of you. Good luck.

Most of all, know your subject. have some friends rehearse asking you questions how you would handle certain situations. Don't just stand art the podium and give a speech. Take that microphone in your hand and walk back and forth along the front row. Make sure you look your audience in the eye as well when you speak. God luck.

Focus on what you have to say, and really believe that everybody is there to listen to you. Believe that your the S**t and what you have to say is important. Be really prepared so you know exactly what your saying. Try turning that nervous energy into positive. Its a very hard subject, I thrive on a big crowd, it's time to get a bit arrogant. Believe in yourself. Don't forget to breath!!! (sounds silly but it's important.) Good luck ( if all else fails maybe have a couple of tequila shots before hand).

instead of presenting the material, try sharing the information.
don't give the presentation, be the presentation. talk to the audience . not at the audience. example Joel Osteen.
he just shares his feeling.

Focus on the issues more than focusing on yourself . You'll be surprised to glance up and see the crowd-and have it mean nothing to you -because you are so engrossed with what you are saying .

Make sure you have your material memorized and confidence, and then visualize the audience being naked. Will give you a big edge.

Imagine yourself bombing it Once you've gone over the absolute worst that could happen, you'll find it's not that bad, and you will be much less nervous.

It comes with practice. You get used to anything, even hanging.
