I don't like to pee in public bathrooms 1)because their gross and 2)because I don't like other people to hear me pee. Even when I'm in the comfort of my own home...I turn the faucet on so no-one else will hear me. I don't know exactly why and I've tried to pee when it's off, I just can't do it..........

I can understand not wanting to pee in public bathrooms because yes they are gross, and you don't know who or what was on the toilet seat before you. I always make sure I go before I leave the house, but if I am desperate I cover the seat with alot of paper, but still try to not touch it. Only if desperate. About hearing it, do you really think people are standing by the door just to hear you pee? lol.

I agree with you that public bathrooms are gross and that alone is a good reason to not use public ones. But not liking other people hearing you pee is kind of odd. Everyone does it and is heard doing it. It's a natural part of life. I respect your choice though, everyone has their own preferences.

Some people just have a hard time with this. At least guys don't have to sit down - well not all the time at least. Now the part about even in your house is a bit unusual. I imagine pharting is a real embarrassment to you. It's all a part of nature tho and everyone already knows you pee poop and phart. Think of that and conserve the water.

I don't like public restrooms. I don't care how clean they are or if they are in the most cleanest places, like the hospital where I work. But I don't have a problem at home. But your problem with peeing at home is actually quite common. You can either live with it. Or slowly try to break your self of the habit. If it really becomes a problem for you try seeing a therapist.

It could be that sometimes peeing becomes easier when some water is running, this is simply related to the working of the mind and nothing to do with physiological construction of the body. This reflects you are a very sensitive and shy person. There are ways to overcome this gradually.

Yes, i do the same thing. I even continued doing it around my husband until he asked me about it. No public bathrooms though, they are always so gross.

I think it's weird you're worried about people hearing you pee, but not worried about people hearing you have a bowel movement and smelling it.
