How do you tackle?

Alright I am a poor tackler and I play really soft. Someone please help me out with my skills and my mindset.

put your shoulder pad in his gut, (this is not being a dirty player you are doing it to stay low) wrap up and drive through the tackle. Most important thing to remember defense is about heart not talent, just want it more than the other guy does

Use both hands and go for the waist or legs. Look at their hips to see which way they plan on going when they try to fake you out. Even if you can only hold the guy a couple of seconds, backup should arrive at that time to help you out unless you are way down field.
