esophageal varices or upper gi bleeding or bleeding ulcer. This can be a sign of a life threatening condition and a person that does this should go to the emergency room or call 911.

(coughing up blood from the lungs is one of the symptoms of tuberculosis - but tb is not usually associated with vomiting blood)

Usually a bleeding ulcer..could also be tuberculosis...you should not be getting blood clots in vomit.

Go to the doctor. It could be very serious.

Terminal Cancer of the Pancreas. Really wouldn't bother with a Doctor, it's too late once you start puking up blood. Enjoy the days you have left.

A serious medical problem that ought to be checked out. We admit several patients each week for GI bleeds, and once in a while one of them dies from blood loss. Get yours checked before it gets to be a real problem, please!
