so i have diagnosed "bilateral chronic hip pain"... i have been to many doctors to find out what is wrong.. as a freshman (a few years ago) i played 10 days straight of extreme soccer, i took a day break and a day later i couldn't run. i played soccer and my hips gave out on me and i was carried off the field. From then on i have been in pain everytime i run, dance, powerwalk, excerise, ride horses, sit too long, stand to long, etc. I have been to a couple different pediatriansi have had MRI's Xrays, and bone scans. I have been through many physical thearapists, massage therapists, accupuncture, chiropraters, orthopedic surgeons, i have checked to see if i have problems with my legs, back, feet, and basically everywhere else. If any one has any idea what could be the problem or any type of remedy, you would help me considerably.

First let me say I feel really bad for you. And I cannot believe that you've seen that many people and nothing has worked. I guess you could try to get a second opinon at somewhere renowned for it for it like the Mayo Clinic. Otherwise you could try hypnosis. I've heard some people have chronic pain that just turns out to be a psychological thing and the hypnosis kind of snaps them out of it.

Good luck!

I feel ur pain and I hope u can come to terms with ur devastating condition, unfortunately ur prob not gonna get something miraculous from yahoo that you couldn't get from all the trained professionals you have seen first hand, but u prob know that and are grasping 4 straws in ur desperation 4 a cure..I recommend following the advice of the profesionals. u've seen and perhaps becoming involved in sports which rely more on upper body so that u'll be able to continue ur athleticism i.e, cannoing , weight training , ect..

You have described me to a tee. I have continous back, hip and knee pain everyday. I think it has a lot to do with me hurting my back a few years ago. Sorry I don't have any suggestions on what to do, just to say that I feel for you.
