should a true man cry?

I figure a man should only cry at a funeral, thats it! But there are men who are exceptions to the rule. I for one never cry for reasons other then death. That is my true feelings. Relationship wise, I find that to be very childish to cry over, I dont know, you might have different opinons, whatever.

As a former Police Officer and Bounty Hunter I dealt with all the scum you could think of. I was a hard man, I never cried, I never showed emotion, I had failed relationship after another because I wasn't emotionally attached. Then my dog of 15 years died, and I was crushed. Since that day, I cry at the drop of a hat. Sad movies, deaths of people, like Steve Irwin the most recent. And I didn't know him except for on TV. I could be a good actor, all I do is think of my dog and I'll get all choked up. Not to be confused with sobbing. I just get all teary eyed.
And I'm all the man you need for a true man. So yes, true men do cry.

If you feel like crying, cry. No use in repressing it to conform to someone else's expectations. It shouldn't be a matter of gender.

There are definitely more reasons than a funeral for someone to cry.

If you find yourself crying too often, it might be for simple reasons like not getting enough light, or because you learned at some point that it's a way to manipulate your world, or for more serious reasons that might require help from a professional.

Why Not? Men should show their Man hood in many ways and shedding a tear should have no impact on his status of being a Man... Shedding a tear shows that he has feelings, warmth and understading of others situations which may be in death, birth of his new born, or touched by the Sunday Morning message at Church... No one should be a hard *** all the time.

Contrary to common theories that men are not men unless they are tough and "macho", all human beings have been given emotions, including men. Emotions are one of the three parts of the soul. The mind and will are the other two. We certainly wouldn't take either of these away from anyone. Why should men be deprived of expressing their emotions by crying if they feel the need to do so. I know from personal experience that one of my best friends was not allowed to cry when his father committed suicide and again when his wife died of cancer. He suffered for years because he had not been able to properly grieve the deep losses he felt.

He could but not necesary should. It depends on what is the occasion. A true man does not mean he has to be emotionless or overwhelmingly emotional.

The US 5 stars general of the desert storm Norman once said, he is not suprises men cries, as he does too at times. He would be surprised if men don't cry.

Yes...! But not all the time. Just cry when you feel too sad and can't hold your tears, its makes you more comfortable.
