There are a number of eye drops available in the stores. If that doesn't help she should see an optometrist.

Much of what is above may work. Sustaine is the longest lasting. Start each day by washing the eyes with very warm water, and a washrag that has NO SOAP of any kind in it. Put in the drops right after. Do the same at night in reverse shortly before bed. Use some drops during the day, especially before long periods of eye use. She should notice a change in a few days. If she is taking sinus medicine, temporarily stop, and see if it makes a difference in a couple of days. If all this doesn't work, try a drop of Baby Shampoo when washing the eyes. If nothing changes in 2 weeks, see an eye SURGEON, not an eye doctor. The problem may be over the head of an eye doctor. Good Luck. B.

First, have her get an appointment with an opthalmologist. Dry eyes can be symptoms of other problems.
Have her start using artificial tears - not just any eye drops, like Visine. Artificial tears without preservatives are best. When her eyes are feeling extra dry, trying using a *warm* compress on them for 15-20 minutes - it can make all the difference in the world.
Dry eyes are very uncomfortable, and in more severe cases, can cause problems like corneal erosions (painful, but they do heal) and infections. Best bet is to see the opthalmologist.

Please have her go to an eye doctor soon. This could be a sign of an eye infection that may result in blindness if not treated. The eyes are nothing to fool around with - I've had 2 eye surgeries this year, one of which was completely preventable. For the full story, go to my home page! In the meantime, check out these medical links. Hope this helps.
