How come when I enter a Yahoo chat room it collapses to only one line viewable?

When I enter a chat room, the whole thing collapses to where I can only see one line in the room, why is that?

Yahoo chat is buggy. Try, next time before you close the window, enlarge the window as much as you can (without maximizing it). That should save it in registry, next time you open, to open to that size.
