I think the movie you are talking about is "Prime"...starring Meryl Streep, Uma Thurman and Bryan Greenberg.
Uma is seeing a therapist (Meryl) telling her all about her times spent with this guy (Bryan) and Meryl discovers that the guy is her own son.

i think you're talking about prime. where the girlfriend (uma thurman) is seeing a therapist (meryl streep) who also happens to be her boyfriend's (bryan greenberg) mother. i saw it at the movie theater and i really enjoyed it. it has a twist at the ending which surprised me. i would recommend this movie to anyone!
