what are some good role models??

well, perhaps you could look a bit deeper than characters on TV shows or actors. believe it or not, teachers and professors make wonderful role models... and other people who have accomplished something in their lives. you don't have to want to be "just like them", but perhaps just admiring certain aspects of their lives and learning from what they do and don't do.

i know this is stupid, but my role model is Rory Gilmore from the show Gilmore girls. I know she's a fictional character, but i just admire her good relationship with her mom, she's not shallow, she's smart and she's pretty.

Look for teachers in your school, your church, your neighborhood, family.
Do not look for role models in the media.
My role model is still my 4th. grade violin teacher.
