Personally I think the name Bethany is GREAT...but I'm a bit partial. Of the other Bethany's I've met most seem like good people. A couple have been a little over the top and borderline obnoxious. Most seem to be athletic. Most are pretty social creatures too. Best of all...I've yet to meet a Bethany that is unattractive.

The name of Bethany makes me think of someone I know named Bethany, simply enough, though I like the spelling Betheny better. I like both names but I like Alexis a little more. Everyone associates names with something different, usually experience with people so don't worry about that.

bethany is not wrong of a name, because it a strange name, people don't understand the name or is confuse with it but i think is better to have a different name and everyone who have the same name. sometime you have a name like this are sometime get make fun of, but if you like the name bethany then don't care what other think

Bethany to me is very pretty and soft sounding. Classy.
Alexis reminds me of Alexis Carrington from Dynasty so that to me is a mean b**** and is also hard sounding.
My choice would be Bethany! Very nice!!

Theres a skank at my school named Bethany and she flurts with my friends Boyfriend all the time but other than that its a cute name.
