Oh, gracious. There are so many kinds. Get an album that you can add pages to, like a post-bound or strap hinge - or even a 3 ring binder. Whatever works best for you is fine. Don't listen to the scrapbook snobs who say you have to have this or that.
Just make sure everything is acid-free and lignin-free.
Here is a link to a web site that has some information on specific kinds of albums.
Hope you find what you need.

Memory books that you can add pages too are some of the best. You never know how many pages it will take to finish a scrapbook of a specific vacation, wedding, birthday, etc. Pioneer has easy load page memore books. Usually you can find the extra pages and sheet protectors sold right next to the album so you know where to go if you need more pages to fit that specific album.

Post bound are the best albums, I've found. I love K & Company albums the most, they have great designs. But there are TONS out there!

you may get a 12x12 length album. that's how huge its going to get. I basically use that length. Its has a great number of room for issues to put in and all your treasures too! additionally 12x12 inserts are basic to locate on the shops so she would be in a position to function greater issues if she might like

I would say that the very best are the creative memories ones, you can add to the pages etc etc, these are truly the very best ones out there....IMO you can cut costs with everything else just not the basic book that all that hard work goes into.
