NO! In fact I am of the opinion that if a person has committed a crime that warrants his or her removal from society, they should be removed permanently upon conviction with no appeal process. This means a mandatory death sentence for rapists, murderers, child molesters, etc. Is this cruel and unusual punishment? I doubt the victims would think so!

Yes. I know that a lot of people will not agree with me. I don't think anyone has the right to take away another person's life. I believe that there needs to be harsh penalties for convicted murders etc, and that there are times when a person should not be in the community. However, I don't believe that the government has the right to take that person's life.

Once again, I know that lots will not agree, just giving my opinion.

What I don't like about capital punishment the most is that it is NOT fairly given. You are way more likely to get the death sentence if you are a man....and way more likely if you are Black......and really way more likely if you are poor as opposed to rich. Rich white women do not get the death penalty....nor do rich white men. Is that fair?

Nope. State of Oklahoma just executed a former buddy of mine for murdering his little girl. Beat her over 19 straight days, then when she stopped breathing, gave her CPR and a bottle of Coca Cola and put her to bed, and then went back to bed himself. She died in her sleep. We had an execution party when he was executed! Best night of my life

No they should have thought of that before they killed another person. I have no sympathy for murderers. They should die a slow agonizing death.

The rack, starvation, eaten by ants etc etc etc

Not fool proof? LOL duh They all die don't they?

I think it is cruel to drag it out for the families of victims that resulted in the penalty. At it leave the public including other inmates needlessly at risk.
