Not at all. The competition is geared to the students who go to the school. As far as PE is concerned, competency is the goal, NOT competition. I hope this helps.

P.E. isn't really about competition. Plus, single-sex military schools always produce fit graduates--I'm sure there's no lack of competition there. :)

I would go so far as to say that single sex P.E. actually helps girls to really get involved and work out since they don't have to worry about looking gross or sweaty or too "boyish" in front of boys.
